Recently, I have been learning SQL to sharpen my skills as a data professional. Structured Query Language (SQL) is a popularly known language because of its ability to communicate with databases. I choose to learn SQL since most companies today are data-driven. This is because;
They record every bit of information about their business (e.g., customers, sales).
They store that information (called data) in complex databases.
They draw insights from the data to improve their business & processes.
SQL is the most widely used language for managing and manipulating data in relational databases. Smart analysts integrate the tool into their work to gather data and transform it into valuable business insights.
